Pope Francis

This morning we went to the Vatican for the Sunday Angelus and Blessing. We arrived two hours before the midday appearance of Pope Francis and found a shady spot against a column - it was very hot in the sun.  By 11.30 am the piazza was absolutely crowded with people of all nations and all degrees of interest. When Papa Francesco appeared the crowd erupted into cheers and much waving.
Francis is the third Pope I have seen - John Paul II, Benedict XVI & Francis.
