A nice day for a Walk

We have had four days rest so today was to be a walking day. I knew that there was a good walk to the old cemetery where there was a nice spot for a picnic with great views. Only problem was I wasn't sure where the track began. We found the track when we got to the top of the steep hill at the old cemetery, having followed the busy road and climbed a rough dirt road. My trekking pole was very useful!
It was better exercise going the long and tough way and we saw different things each way so we were happy.

Panicale is surrounded by olive trees and produces a very good olive oil
