Thoughts on a stormy day

Today was to be a quiet day at home but it turned into a quieter day than expected. We were enjoying our lunch in the garden when huge claps of thunder started, next we were gathering up our food and dashing for cover. Umbria is noted for its fantastic thunderstorms and in our experience, this was a fantastic thunderstorm! The loud cracks and bangs of the thunder rang out over the valley, streak lightning flashed to the ground and then down came a torrent of rain.

So today I am posting some more pleasurable thoughts (not necessarily Kelly's opinion as he loves thunderstorms)

Sometimes there are just too many choices. Twenty four is quite normal.

Super pizzas are the go! The box on the left is a regular sized pizza box.

This is how our daily bakery items are wrapped.

Onion and sage pizza bread. Delicious!

Prosecco - perfect!

Vin Santo and cantucci biscuits. The hard almond biscuits are dipped into a small serve of sweet Vin Santo for maximum enjoyment.
