The second weekend of the Festa dell' Uva, grape festival, was due to start this evening at 9 pm with a parade of floats. I'm not expecting that to happen, but we shall see.

Farewell Cate and hopefully farewell rain.
The heavy rain continued today and unfortunately it is also cold. Early this afternoon we took Cate to Chiusi- Chianciano Terme railway station to catch the train back to Rome. She has four more nights in Rome before returning to Melbourne. We have had a very enjoyable week together.
