Lisbon to Rome

After a leisurely breakfast we checked out of Feels Like Home Rossio but stayed in their very welcoming sitting room where I caught up on some blogging. Another TAP plane flight was in store for us so we took the Aerobus to the airport with lots of time to spare. The plane was forty minutes late taking off but at least we were there waiting! The pilot did make up time and we arrived in Rome only ten minutes late.

We have been staying in the Rimini Hotel near Termini in Rome, Italy for twenty two years. It's an old style family run hotel. We usually stay in the same room but we are in the honeymoon suite this time. We do like to have an outdoor area and with the suite we also get a huge room with kitchenette.

We were yearning for pizza as we have not had any Italian food for nearly a month. Ah, now this feels like home!

It rained over night so our rooftop patio was wet when we woke up. Judging by the plants there hasn't  been much rain lately so rain is o.k. with us.

And to mis-quote Crocodile Dundee, "That's not a key, this is a key!"
