Lunch at Ristorante Masolino in Panicale

The weather has been a bit grim the last couple of days and my injured neck muscle has made life difficult, but today we went to Ristorante Masolino in Panicale for lunch. That certainly cheered me up!

We started with Scacciadiavoli Rose, dry bubbles with a slight licorice after-taste, and accompanied this with bread and Panicale oil.

Prima piatti - first plates:
Kel had a tagliolini pasta with lake perch ...

... and I had ravioli stuffed with chick peas with salted cod ragu.
Both were really delicious! Buonissimo!

Secondo piatti - second plates:
Kel had a beef fillet with truffles and melted lardo.

I had wild boar with tomato and juniper and torta al testo ( a local flat bread). Roasted potatoes and oiled spinach completed the meal.

Sadly, no space for dessert once again but we had a meal to remember at Ristorante Masolino, an award winning restaurant in Panicale.
