Accordng to the weather forecast this morning southern Italy is being influenced by the tail of cyclone Oscar which will bring torrential rain and intense thunderstorms, and another coming from the opposite direction, but next week the influence will be from the Sahara. Whatever that all means, today has been very wet and quite cool. I hate wet and cool at home so I certainly dislike it when I am on holidays.
For most of the day I couldn't even sit on the terrace.
In the late afternoon Kel went to the pasticceria to buy some of the pasticciotto pastries. This tray contains four varieties: custard cream, pistacchio, lemon and almond.
Without doubt the highlight of my day.
