From Malta to Rome

A 5 am alarm is not a sound I like however our plane for Rome departed at 8.35 am so it was essential. By 10 am we were back in Italy.
We have rented an apartment in Trastevere for two weeks. It is ideally located across the Tiber in what was once a working class suburb but is now upmarket and popular.
We have been to the supermarket and are looking forward to a home cooked meal tonight.

 For those people who think Rome is dirty, look what we saw today.
