Cate arrives in Panicale

Up early this morning and out for a 2.5 km hilly walk, and a photo of the fog lifting to prove that I was up early!

Then it was off to Chiusi to collect Cate who was arriving on the train from Rome. 

A slow lunch in the garden and followed by an introductory walk around the village to see the charm of this lovely place. By then it was time to meet Aldo at Bar Gallo and have gelati.

Back to Il Roseto where we had Aperol Spritzers followed by local melon and prosciutto then gnocchietta with pesto. Buonissimo!
